Hands-on work is the common thread, whether the system is a door, a cable plant, a controller, or a network.

• Physical security: doors, locking hardware, access control, electronic locking, CCTV, and field service.

• Low voltage: structured cabling, termination, mounting, power, testing, and systems integration.

• Networks and infrastructure: roots in telecom, fibre, towers, server rooms, cable systems, and IT hardware.

• Troubleshooting: reproduce the symptom, isolate the layer, measure before replacing, verify the result, document the handoff.

• Build quality: serviceability, alignment, labeling, cable management, clean trim, and finishing the last ten percent.

I hold a SkilledTradesBC Certificate of Qualification in Security Systems Technician. My current field work also includes locksmithing and door hardware, extending the mechanical side of the same security systems I have worked around electronically and over networks.
